  Outline

The EASTS International Research Group, “International, Inter-regional, and City Logistics Research Group in Wide Variety of Asian Region” (Representative: Prof. T. F. Fwa, National University of Singapore) had launched its activity on October 2005. This logistics seminar was held during Sep. 13-15, 2006, at Shenzhen campus, Tsinghua University, China, in order to share information on current problems and hot research topics in logistics field. The seminar also aims to increase exchanges between researchers of Eastern Asia, as the first stage of the group activity.
It is also a preparatory meeting for T-LOG2007 (The 2nd International Conference on Transportation Logistics). In addition, participators made field survey on logistics in/around Shenzhen City such as international container terminal of Shenzhen port.
